I have some rituals when working . Whenever I begin a new painting, I clean my workstation. Get new water & put out a clean towel for wiping my brushes. Unlike when I work in watercolor, I use a clean palette and fresh paint for each gouache painting. Of course, I have my Pandora music vibe going as well. Puts me in a happy, expectantly creative mood. 😊
